Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following terms.

I. General

• I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason.
• I do not work on a slot-based system. You can contact me at any time to inquire about a commission. If my schedule is full, I'll be happy to add you to my wait-list and will contact you as soon as I have availability.
• Prices listed are base prices. The final price may vary depending on the complexity of the requested artwork. Particularly complex character designs, intricate equipment, or other detailed elements will incur an additional fee. This will be discussed and quoted before any work begins.
• Commissioned artwork is for personal use only, unless commercial rights have been discussed and agreed upon beforehand.

II. Payment

• Payments are accepted through PayPal, Ko-fi or VGen.
• For 2D commissions, payment is due in full after the initial sketch has been approved and before I begin rendering the artwork.
• For 3D commissions, payment is due in full after the concept art/2D preview of the model has been approved and before I begin 3D modeling.
• For YCHs, payment is due in full before any work begins.
• For simple sketch commissions, payment is required before any work begins.
• For larger or high-value commissions, payment plans may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
• Work will not continue until the required payment has been received.

III. Revisions

• A sketch will be provided for approval before I continue with the final artwork. Throughout the commission process, I will also send you progress updates as I work on your piece.
• Minor revisions are welcome during the sketching stage and the initial colouring phase.
• Any changes requested after these stages may incur an additional fee depending on the complexity of the requested edits.
• Revisions required due to mistakes on my part will always be corrected free of charge.

IV. Turnaround

• Completion times vary depending on the complexity of the commission and my current workload, ranging approximately from one week to three months for more complex commissions.
• Clients are welcome to ask for progress updates at any time.
• If unforeseen circumstances significantly delay your commission, I will notify you as soon as possible.
• If you have a deadline, please mention it when submitting your commission request. A rush fee may apply for commissions requiring a significantly shorter turnaround time.

V. Cancellation & Refunds

• Once I have started working on your commission, refunds will not be issued.
• If I am unable to complete your commission for any reason, you will receive either a full or partial refund depending on the stage of completion.

VI. Usage

• You may post your commissioned artwork on social media and personal websites as long as proper credit is given.
• You may not claim the artwork as your own or remove my signature without permission.
• You may not use, reproduce, sell, mint, or redistribute the artwork commercially unless commercial usage rights have been purchased.
• I retain the right to use any commissioned artwork for self-promotion purposes and as examples on my social media platforms and personal websites.

VII. Communication

• Communication will take place through E-Mail, Instagram, Discord, or VGen’s communication platform, depending on your preferred method of contact.
• Please provide clear visual references and/or detailed written descriptions when requesting a commission. This includes character designs, poses, color schemes, expressions, and any other relevant details needed to accurately understand your request. If you do not have full references, written explanations are acceptable, and I can work from them; however, please be as specific as possible.
• You are also welcome to explicitly allow for creative freedom if you prefer not to provide strict instructions. In such cases, I will interpret the commission based on my own artistic judgment while staying within the general concept you provide.
• If important visual references change after work has begun, additional fees may apply.
• Disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the cancellation of the commission without refund if work has already begun.
• Please communicate in a clear and respectful manner to ensure a smooth and productive workflow.
• Please respond to requests for feedback or approval in a timely manner. If I do not hear back from you for 30 days after my most recent message, the commission may be considered abandoned. At that point, I may cancel the commission without a refund and reserve the right to keep, modify, repurpose, or sell the artwork.
• Feel free to ask questions at any point during the commission process!

VIII. Do's and Don'ts

• I can do:
  • Equines
  • Animals (all species, both extant and extinct)
  • Anthropomorphic / Furry characters
  • Original characters
  • Humans and humanoid characters
  • Armour and intricate clothing designs
  • Detailed or complex character designs
  • Stylized and semi-realistic proportions and designs
  • Props, objects, and multiple accessories
  • Backgrounds
• I will not do:
  • Explicit sexual content
  • Extreme gore or graphic / gratuitous violence
  • Illegal or harmful subject matters
• If something is not explicitly listed, feel free to send me a message. I am always open to discussion regarding suitability.

2D Commissions

• All commissions are delivered digitally via Google Drive in PNG format. No physical item will be produced.
• All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Please use a currency converter to verify prices in your local currency.

3D Commissions

• All commissions are delivered digitally via Google Drive in OBJ, FBX, STL and PNG format. No physical item will be produced.
• All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Please use a currency converter to verify prices in your local currency.
